We had one of our best trips here. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights and had a wonderful time! We went kayaking and swimming twice enjoyed the views and ate some delicious food. The person who really made our stay unforgettable was Hotel Manager. His service is a five star experience. From early morning until late night he makes sure that everything runs smoothly at the cruise and in the restaurant, and is attentive to every detail of the customer. He is a true gentleman and will answer any question and attend to your every need. All the other staff were also extremely polite and helpful

We were lucky enough to get one of the rooms with a private balcony, which really enhanced the experience. To sit on any of the decks while moving through the limestone rock formations of Halong Bay was truly divine. Our best, least touristy activities took place on the full second day; otherwise, on the partial first and third days, we were jammed into the standard itineraries arranged for many, many other visitors. My advice would be to ask questions about the tour’s itinerary to ensure you’re getting the experience you want. Booking a 3 day tour will help.

The journey from Hanoi to Halong Bay is long (nearly 4 hours) however they provided a luxury minibus to make the trip. A stop halfway at the anticipated tourist goods hyper-market made a welcome stop. The cruise boat has 34 cabins which are quite well appointed. One item lacking was a kettle to make drinks. Day 1. The kayaking was quite hard work but the sights worth the effort. The meals on the boat were excellent Vietnamese fine dining, presented very well by the chef and the staff were very attentive, pleasant and efficient. Day 2 for us was the best part. From our cruise we were the only ones joining up with 4 from a sister company we transferred to a smaller day cruise boat and travelled to a much more remote, quiet and beautiful part fo Halong Bay. Day 3 was a morning trip to a beach and a cave then lunch and back to the cruise for lunch and then return to Hanoi. Yes I would recommend it but don't expect the isolation that maybe some tour operators what you to believe - that boat has already sailed.

Absolutely fabulous place. This is literally heaven on Earth. It's scenic , picturesque, serene and out of the world. Cruise service is also excellent . We are vegetarians but the friendly Cruise crew serves decent veg dinner and lunch. The tour guide Jackie / Tugen was friendly and helpful. Fishing village or cave trip were interesting. Worth coming back again.
