Nice staff, good food and very interesting to see Mekong- how people live by and on this delta. Spent two nights on the boat; for me, one would have been enough- did almost the same stuff both days. But on different places. The wifi on board was nothing to rely on. All in all; recommend this trip!

We took the 2 night stay on Mekong eyes. We had been on Phu Quoc Island so our journey started there. We were picked up from our hotel at 7am and transfered to the ferry terminal where we took the Superdong fast 2 and a half hours ferry to Rach Gia. Our taxi was waiting we were joined by another couple and ( people carrier) driven the 3 hour journey through interesting towns and country side. We boarded the boat and were met by the welcoming staff. After a 4 course lunch we had time to unpack before taken by a small boat to the shore for a walk. The walk through the area was delightful. Our guide Kim gave us so much information about the Mekong and how the people live off the land. We finished the walk at a local house where the family offered us fruit. Back on the boat we watched the sun go down. Another lovely meal and a few drinks on deck followed by sleep. Our cabin was at the back of the boat and had a small balcony which was a nice addition although I think it was much noisier than elsewhere on the boat As expected the cabins are very small and either standard double or twin beds. All very clean as was the excellent shower room which was surprisingly spacious. We woke and had an excellent breakfast. We then transfered to a small boat. We were taken down the river and transfered in couples to individual sampans for a back water paddle which was so peaceful. We then visited a sweet making factory . Here you could take a bike tour or walking trip lasting about 45 mins.We took the bike option and loved it.In the afternoon we opted for the on board cooking class instead of the walk. All good fun lasting an hour. Back for another lovely meal. You sit with the same people every night and you appear to be grouped by language so great for talking to others and sharing travel experiences. Next morning we were asked to pack and leave our luggage in the lobby. We went off to the floating market which were great to see. Back to the boat to pick up luggage and transfer to a mini bus for our journey to Ho chi minh city. This took about 4 hours but a surprisingly good lunch stop broke up the interesting journey This trip is not cheap but considering all the transfers the quality of the food (full board) The excellent informative tours and the quality of service we couldn't fault it. It was a fantastic way to see the Mekong Delta and we were so pleased that we used Mekong eyes.

Took the Mekong Eyes 2 night cruise on the Mekong Delta and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The Mekong Eyes has 14 cabins, but these were not all full when we sailed. The hospitality on board was excellent, as were the meals. The rooms are small but comfortable and functional The shore excursions included two village walks which were similar. I would have preferred to visit one of the smaller towns as an option. The guides and crew were great and I would certainly recommend the two night option, as those who opted for the one night on board, missed an understanding of what the Mekong Delta is really like
